08/08/07 It was an interesting day today, we truly saw it all. Stiff breezes SW, W , S, SSW fog, rain showers, and clear blue skies. We were on the hunt for laid up Bass most of our trip today. We saw some nice working Bass early but had spotty action throughout most of the day today raising 7 Bass on topwater landing 3 others. I must say we worked for the action. With the topwater bite shut down we decided to call it quits on the surface and spend the last portion of the trip working some subsurface artificials in some deeper waters so a quick skiff ride put us in an area where we could try and work our mojo on some high sun Bass on shallow structure. The mojo flowed from the first cast to the last cast we had good consistent action as we got onto a nice school of Bass al in the 24"-26" range and all very healthy adding 10 more Bass to the days totals. 3 Bass to 13 Bass in 35 minutes.
