10/30/2009 The weather finally broke and settled down, the water cleared up, and Fall fishing was back in town. We started the day sight fishing in smooth glassy waters and we pretty much saw it all, rollers, tail slappers, big bass laid up rising to the surface like giant Russian submarines, but unfortunately could not hook up in those scenarios. After we hit a few spots we picked a few Bass on topwater and slowly got the ball rolling. The mojo started flowing as we began a consistent Fall bass bite that kept the rods bent the rest of the day. In all for the day we had 18 Bass ranging in size from 20 - 23', all fat, all healthy.
